Katja Hetmanchuk

I hold a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with an environmental specialization and a master’s degree in environmental assessment from Concordia University in Montréal, Québec. My career in the environmental field began with the conducting of Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments. I also have experience analyzing and evaluating environmental regulatory requirements. I have conducted and published studies analyzing climate change mitigation within the framework of impact assessments, including the role of greenhouse gas (GHG) programmes.

I have travelled extensively in Canada, the USA, Europe, the Middle East, North Africa and Southeast Asia. I am always dreaming about my next trip and the sights I will see, the food I will discover, and the people I will meet.
