Samuel Lee

My past internships have been performing electrochemical research through NSERC on applications of new nano-materials in clean energy, analyzing failures in fuel cells at Ballard Power Systems, and improving the treatment process of tailing ponds at Imperial Oil. At UBC, I had a chance to be a coordinator for the largest student-run sustainability club on campus.

I was born in South Korea but grew up in Calgary, and in my spare time you will find me playing basketball, rugby, golf, and tennis. My proudest achievements are placing 2nd at the Canadian National Public Speaking competition and being selected as the Calgary Independent School Association’s Athlete of the Year!
